Our Story
Star Air HVAC/R was founded in 2021 by Yuriy Dudych in Hamilton Township, Mercer County. Yuriy Dudych started the company after years in the trades and seeing the same pattern repeat: contractors who were slow to respond, vague on pricing, and quick to pass work to subcontractors whose quality was unknown. He wanted to build a company he'd be comfortable calling himself.
Every technician at Star Air is a direct employee — fully trained, EPA certified, and covered by the company's insurance. We pull permits, file paperwork, and register manufacturer warranties on your behalf — because that's what a licensed contractor is supposed to do. Star Air holds New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor license #13VH13470500 and carries full liability and workers-compensation insurance.
